Mississippi Mass Choir

America's most celebrated traditional gospel choir — multiple Grammy and Stellar Award winners.

About the choir

Founded by gospel singer Frank Williams in 1988, the Mississippi Mass Choir is one of the most celebrated gospel choirs in the United States. Since its self-titled debut release that same year, the choir has placed multiple albums on Billboard's gospel charts, won Grammy and Stellar awards, and made television appearances ranging from BET to the Discovery Channel. Its sound — large, jubilant, and rooted in the Black Southern church — has shaped traditional gospel for a generation.
