
About Azucena Maizani
Azucena Maizani (born on 17 November 1902, died 15 de enero de 1970 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) was a tango singer and songwriter. She achived great popularity in radio and theatre, and recorded more than 270 songs throughout her career. In 1935, Libertad Lamarque named her "La Ñata Gaucha" (The Little Gaucho Girl) because of the traditional Guacho outfits she wore for her performances.
