About Allies
There is more than one band named Allies. 1) Allies is a Christian rock band. They released six albums during the 1980s and early 1990s. The three most notable band members were guitarist Randy Thomas, formerly of the Jesus music group Sweet Comfort Band,Keyboardist Sam Scott,formerly of Darrell Mansfield and Psalm 150, and vocalist Bob Carlisle. Bob went on to pursue a solo careeer and recorded the hit song "Butterfly Kisses", which was co-written with Randy.
