About Sweet Comfort Band
Sweet Comfort Band was a Christian rock band who were active from the mid-1970s until 1984. The band consisted of Bryan Duncan, Randy Thomas, Rick Thomson and Kevin Thomson. Sweet Comfort released their self-titled first album on Maranatha! Records in 1977. Their sound was a mix of jazzy, funky rock that was quite a bit different from most bands in Contemporary Christian music industry who were primarily performing folk-rock and soft rock. Few bands had the musicianship displayed by this quartet.
