About Welcome to Julian
Welcome to Julian is a French indie band formed in the late 1980's. Two tracks appear on the "In Awe" compilation, released in 1989. They released 3 albums = the first «Welcome To Julian» and the second in 1993, «Never So Close» with british noisy-pop influence like Ride or My Bloody Valentine. In 1995 their final, « Surfing on a T-bone » is more US as it was compared to Pavement by US rock magazine. The band split in 1997. Bands member are: - Lionel Beuque - Jacques Guamis - Fred Gurnot - Philippe Deshaies
