brincando de deus (in English meaning "playing god", the band name should be written in lower case) is one of the most important Brazilian alternative rock bands. Influenced by post-punk and shoegaze, brincando de deus was formed in Bahia in 1992. Establishing their own recording label (Self Records), they have released 3 albums so far: "Better When You Love (Me)" (1995), "Running Live on Your Mind: The Official Bootleg", and "brincando de deus" (2001).
