
About Webb Wilder
Webb Wilder is American rock & roll singer, guitarist and actor John McMurry (born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on 19 May 1954). Using the Webb Wilder moniker, he has also recorded as Webb Wilder & The Nashvegans and Webb Wilder And The Beatnecks. McMurry's Webb Wilder character was created in 1984 for a short comedy film called "Webb Wilder Private Eye" in which the character was a backwoods private detective who fell out of the 1950s and happened also to be a musician (the short appeared on the US television variety show "Night Flight").
