
About Tony Vice
Tony has been playing music all his life. He began as a gospel piano player and singer in his teens and took up guitar and banjo during the folk era. He became a professional musician in 1970 in New York and played everywhere from Gerde’s Folk City to Carnagie Hall. In 1975 he bought a telecaster and put together a highly successful country band. For the next 5 years he toured from Nashville to Las Vegas. He opened for or played back up for Kitty Wells, Bill Anderson, Cal Smith, Ian Tyson and lots of other friends and heroes.
