About The Sacred Mushroom
The Sacred Mushroom was an American psychedelic rock and blues band from Cincinnati, Ohio formed in the late 1960s by Timothy and Lawrence Goshorn. The band had Larry Goshorn on lead guitar and vocals, Danny Goshorn on vocals, Joe Steward on bass, Fred Fogwell on rhythm guitar and Doug Hamilton on drums. As a local success, the group opened for the Quicksilver Messenger Service at Xavier University, Big Brother & The Holding Company with Janis Joplin at The Music Hall.
