About Floating Bridge

Floating Bridge was a short-lived but fascinating American psychedelic rock band from Seattle, Washington, active between 1967 and 1969. The band's name comes from the famous bridge in Seattle that crosses Lake Washington. Their sound was a blend of bluesy hard rock, psychedelic guitar riffs, and creative cover versions that made them a hidden gem of the late 1960s. Guitarist Rich Dangel (formerly of The Wailers) and bassist Joe Johnson formed the band after the end of The Time Machine.
