The Pussywillows were a New York, USA band formed in 1987 by Elinor Blake, aka April March, with two friends Lisa Jenio and Lisa Dembling. They released one 7 song EP on Telstar records called Spring Fever!. They also recorded a memorable song called "Vindaloo" which is featured in the movie "Kill the Moonlight". Musically the band harkened back to 60's girl groups like The Shangri-Las and The Ronettes while featuring a garage rock backing, similar to 90's Medway girl group Thee Headcoatees.
