About Lida Husik
Lida Husik grew up in Washington DC. Her first single was released on a Dischord compilation called "State of the Union" under the name Red Emma. Later she moved to NYC and met producer Kramer, recording three experimental pop records for his Shimmy Disc label. In 1994 she teamed up with British electronic composer Beaumont Hannant with whom she recorded three albums, two for Astralwerks and one for Alias records. Also in the mid-90's she recorded two rock records, "Joyride" for Caroline, and "Fly Stereophonic" for Alias.
