There are at least two bands with the name The Offering: 1) a psychedelic rock band from Virginia USA. 2) an etheral rock band from Cambridge, UK. 1) The Offering hails from Fredericksburg, Virginia playing their own brand of noisy, spaced out, psychedelic rock. Started as a two-piece in 2004, the band has since lost members and added members leading up to it's latest conception of 5, two guitars, a bass, keyboards, and drums. The band references influences such as The Jesus and Mary Chain
