About The Moonband
If you want to give a name to the genre, within which The Moonband moves musically, then you'd probably call it "Contemporary" or "Alternative Folk". But how many attributes you would ever want to add to "Folk" – in the end it remains Folk: the fusion of telling stories and making music. It's as simple as that. The joy of music making is the driving power behind what they do. It comes as no surprise, that the band was able to develop a distinctive musical language for their debut album.
