About The Cloud Hymn
The Cloud Hymn centers around the songwriting of John Nielsen. Nielsen sings and plays guitar and is joined by Tani Alyssa who also sings and Paul Brandt (Cranes & Crows) on piano. The group's eleven song debut album was released on March 3rd, 2009 by Amble Down Records. The album is entitled "A Seed Buried In The Ground" and was recorded in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Nielsen wrote most of the songs found on A Seed Buried In The Ground as a means of coping - for emotional release, and spiritual processing while still attending college.
