About The Maureens
The Maureens are a jangly indie rock band, established in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in 2012. Richly arranged and inspired by bands such as Big Star, The Posies, The Beach Boys and perhaps Holland's own Daryll-Ann, front man Hendrik-Jan de Wolff writes melodic, melancholy indie rock. The band has four full-length albums to its name: The Maureens (2013), Bang the Drum (2015), Something in the Air (2019) and Everyone Smiles (2024). The Maureens are: Hendrik-Jan de Wolff, Martijn Vink, Stefan Broos and Wouter Zijlstra.
