About The Horse Company
The Horse Company was a four-piece alternative rockband from the town of Zwolle, The Netherlands, active from 2006 to 2013. Their rootsy, country-tinged style of rock has drawn comparisons to American bands such as Wilco[/artists], Sebadoh, The Replacements, Buffalo Tom, Dinosaur Jr., Centro-Matic and R.E.M.. Founded in 2006, the group released three full-length albums: The Horse Company (2007), Olympus (2009) and Calypso (2012). All albums received favourable reviews in the Dutch music press.
