Tangarine is a Dutch folk duo with roots in Assen, The Netherlands, comprising twin brothers Arnout and Sander Brinks. Born in Lelystad, the Brinks family moved to Assen when the twins were nine years of age. They started writing their own songs at a very tender age, inspired by Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles and Bob Dylan. Unable to land a record deal, they decided to do things themselves. A number of self-released albums followed and they booked their own shows.
