About Case Mayfield
Case Mayfield (real name: Kees Veerman, born 1987 in Volendam, The Netherlands) is a Dutch singer-songwriter based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Mayfield first gained some prominence by winning the 'popular vote' of the Grote Prijs van Nederland singer-songwriter contest in 2010. Play It Again Sam (PIAS) signed him up and released his debut album, The Many Colored Beast (2012), to rave reviews in. The album was nominated for two different Dutch Edison awards, for 'Best Newcomer' and 'Album of the Year'.
