Svart Vinter is an Italian atmospheric black metal band formed in Rome in 2021, created by members of the doom/death metal outfit Veil of Conspiracy. The name Svart Vinter means “black winter” in Swedish/Norwegian—a fitting moniker that reflects the band’s bleak, cold, and immersive sound. Svart Vinter’s music channels the spirit of classic Norwegian black metal of the 1990s with a contemporary atmospheric edge. Their sound features haunting melodies
