About Serge Lebrasse
Joseph Emmanuel Serge Lebrasse, better known as Serge Lebrasse was born on the 25th June 1930 in the town of Rose Hill in Mauritius. He attended school until the age of 14 when all schools on the island closed due to a polio outbreak. Instead of staying at home, he took up a job as an apprentice woodsman in Quartier Militaire where he met Jean Alphonse Ravaton (known as Ti Frère) who introduced him to traditional Sega.
