
Schooner Fare is a local Portland, Maine folk band, consisting of the late Tom Rowe (1950 - January 17, 2004), Steve Romanoff, and Chuck Romanoff. Schooner Fare plays primarily original maritime and topical songs,Celtic and British folk music. They play throughout New England and North America, and their songs have been recorded by major international artists Tommy Makem, Liam Clancy, Glenn Yarbrough and are played by radio stations worldwide. Schooner Fare was formed in 1975.
