About Sandy Denny And The Strawbs
Sandy Denny And The Strawbs was the subsequent name given to an early version of English folk-rock band Strawbs that featured English folk singer and songwriter Sandy Denny (subsequently in Fairport Convention and Fotheringay. In their early days, Strawbs worked with Denny and, while in Copenhagen, Denmark, in July 1967, they recorded 13 songs, some of which were for a proposed first album, "All Our Own Work". The album was not issued at the time and the fledgling band could not get a UK record deal.
