About Tim Hart and Maddy Prior
Starting out in the late 1960s as a singing duo on the folk club scene of St. Albans, England, Tim Hart and Maddy Prior released several albums together before becoming founder members of the iconic English folk-rock band Steeleye Span. Tim Hart died of lung cancer on 24 December 2009, aged 61.
