About Sakina

Sakîna Têyna is a Kurdish singer and journalist, living in Austria Sakina was born in 1973 in Northwest-Kurdistan. She drop out her studies of health, to devote herself to journalism. In the course of their political and cultural activities, she joined the association "Navenda Çanda Mezopotamya" (Turkish "Kültür Merkezi Mezopotamya" / English "Cultural Center Mesopotamia") which was very significant for so many other Kurdish bands in Turkey. Sakina was a friend of in battle resistance fallen female fighter Beritan.
