About Ramiro Gallo Quinteto
Argentine violinist and composer, Ramiro Gallo, has performed with many symphony and chamber orchestras both in his own country and elsewhere-- including The Jazz Orchestra at New York's Lincoln Center directed by Wynton Marsalis. He has a broad background in different styles of music, and seeks to push the boundaries of Tango forward without losing the spirit of that music. In 2000 he formed a forward looking Tango quintet in order to develop and perform his own repertoire.
