
About María Graña
María Graña is one of the most important singers in the history of tango. She was born in Buenos-Aires, 16 June 1953. She started to sing in the age of 12. When Maria was 17 years old, she won an Argentinian TV contest with a song "La canción de Buenos Aires". After that she was noticed by Osvaldo Pugliese, who invited María to join his orchestra. In 1975 she recorded her first solo album - "La gran tanguista", which was followed by "Distinta" (1977)
