About Poplex
Poplex (in Hebrew: פופלקס was an Israeli pop band with a post-punk New Wave tint ctive between 1986 and 1987, remembered for their unique style and innovative music videos. Despite their short run, the band left a notable mark on the Israeli music scene. The group was formed in 1986 under the initiative of the Helicon Israeli record label, which was just starting out. The band members included lead singer Benny Black, guitarist Shahar Ben-Barak, bassistEyal Linor, and drummer Dudi “Duvdev” Shalom.
