About Nosei Hamigbaat

Nosei HaMigba'at (נושאי המגבעת in Hebrew) were an iconic Israeli alternative rock band formed in 1985 in Jerusalem, Israel. Known for their avant-garde style, surreal lyrics, and experimental sound, the band became a significant part of the Israeli underground music scene during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Initially, the band focused on performing covers of Joy Division, but soon began to develop their unique sound. The founding members included Ohad Pishof, Tamir Albert, Alon Choen, Ram Orion, and Iris Perlmuter.
