About Phil Pickett
Phil Pickett (born Philip Stuart Pickett in Münster, Germany, on 19 November 1946) is a German-born English double Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter, producer and musician (principally keyboards). He co-founded hit-making UK pop band Sailor in 1973 (building on his earlier collaboration with Georg Kajanus as Kajanus Pickett). He is better known for co-writing and recording "Karma Chameleon" one of the biggest hits of the 1980s era for Culture
