
About Peter, Paul & Mary
Peter, Paul & Mary (sometimes PP&M) was an American folk trio remembered as one of the most successful folk-singing groups of the 1960s. The trio comprised Peter Yarrow (died 2025), Noel Paul Stookey, and Mary Travers (died 2009). The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999 and, in 2006, received the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2009, the trio was inducted into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame.
