First line-up was Paul Motian (drums), Charles Brackeen (saxes) and David Izenzon (bass). Next line-up was Motian, Brackeen and Jean-François Jenny-Clark (bass). From the early 1980's till Motian's death the trio consisted of Motian, Bill Frisell (guitar) and Joe Lovano (sax).
