Norm Lewis (born June 2, 1963 in Eatonville, Florida) is an African-American Broadway actor formerly enrolled with the "revival" of Les Misérables as Javert. He was enlisted until the short revival ends on September 1, 2007, which has since been extended until at least December 31, 2007, and now has been named to close officially on January 6, 2008, although tickets were originally planned for purchasing through March of 2008. He is currently playing
