About No Defences
No Defences were an anarcho punk/post-punk band from London, England, who were active in the early 80s. Being associated with artists such as Annie Anxiety and Crass they played with other such bands (Antisect, Dirt, Sedition and others) They were notable for a more post-punk sound and less of the straightforward politicising of many of their contempories. They recorded a self-titled album in 1982 for Crass records, but for some reason the LP was never released, though recordings of it are passed around to this day.
