About Monique Ortiz
Monique Ortiz is an american composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and a fine artist, most commonly known for her bass playing. Her projects include Alien Knife Fight (with her partner, multi-instrumentalist Michael Howard), A.K.A.C.O.D. (with Morphine saxophonist Dana Colley), and Bourbon Princess (with original Morphine drummer Jerome Deupree, and Either/Orchestra saxophonist/band leader Russ Gershon.) As of April 2021 Monique is working on new solo material as well as a couple of collaborations.
