About Marte in Ariete
Italy-based Post-Punk / New Wave / Coldwave band came together around 1984 when Osvaldo Lanata at the time singer with Nadja, started writing songs by himself . He recruited some other former members of Nadja, Carlo Nasti on bass and Bruno Ianiello sax, and with them soon joined the friends Lorenzo Acanfora and Franco Zocco . Working together the band quickly developed a sound , typical of the Italian new wave 80's generation where cold synth melodies stand out to contrast the dramatic italian lyrics singing
