About Liege Lord
Liege Lord is an American power metal band formed in the 1980s by Matt Vinci, Anthony Truglio, and Frank Cortese. Originally a Judas Priest cover band called Deceiver, their early sound was heavily influenced by British heavy metal. They signed with French label Black Dragon Records, releasing their debut album "Freedom's Rise" in 1985, which gained a cult following. The band released three albums, including "Master Control" in 1988, produced by Terry Date.
