About Konstantia Gourzi
As a composer and conductor committed to developing new performance concepts for modern music, Konstantia Gourzi has initiated a variety of concert series and ensembles. She founded the ensemble attacca berlin and the international concert series zeitzonen (time zones), was the artistic director of ensemble echo in Berlin from 1999 until 2007 and established the ensemble oktopus for contemporary music at the Munich University for music and performing arts, which she continues to lead.
