About Julia McKenzie
Julia McKenzie (born 17 February 1941) is an English actress, singer and theatre director. She is best known for her performance on television in Fresh Fields and more recently in Cranford and as Miss Marple in Agatha Christie's Marple. Miss McKenzie has also appeared on the stage in both the West End and on Broadway, including in several Stephen Sondheim musicals, including the original cast of Side By Side By Sondheim, Follies and the Royal National Theatre's production of Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
