There are at least two artists named Alexis Smith: 1) A member of the British musical duo The Flight. 2) Born on 8 June 1921, Penticton, British Columbia, Canada Died on 9 June 1993, Los Angeles, California, USA 1940s Hollywood actress who never quite made it to the "big leagues". Became best known for her role in Stephen Sondheim's stage musical FOLLIES (for which she won a Tony award). Parlayed her success in that into a nightclub act that toured Canada and the United States in the '70s.
