
Juan de Castro y Malagaray (born 1570 in Valdemeca (Cuenca province), died 11. Aug. 1632 in Cuenca) was a Spanish composer. He was initially a student of Ph. Rogiers, no doubt at the Maîtrise of Kgl. Chapel in Madrid, and classmates of G. de Ghersem, M. Romero, N. Dupont, J. Dufon, Ph. Dubois, J. de Loncin and Et. Bernard.
