
About Johan Kvandal
Johan Kvandal (1919-1999) is highly esteemed among Norway's contemporary composers. His music is annually present on the repertoire of the large orchestras in Norway. But there is an increasing interest for his music abroad; and recently Kvandal has been performed in New York, London, Tokyo, Germany and many Russian cities. Kvandal's list of works contains 85 Opus, and his compositions consist of almost all kinds of ensembles from solo instruments to large orchestra.
