About Jean Daniel Braun
Jean Daniel Braun (born around 1703 ; died on February 24, 1738 in Paris) was a French flautist and composer. The dates of life and vita of Jean Daniel Braun are only known in part. An Alsatian origin is suspected [1] . In the first half of the 18th century he was a member of the ducal chapel in Épernon , the duke at the time was Louis Antoine de Pardaillan de Gondrin (1707–1743). Since some of his works also include the bassoon as an alternative to the flute , Braun probably played both instruments.
