About Jayn Rosenfeld
Jayn Rosenfeld is a flutist based in New York City. She was principal flutist in the American Symphony Orchestra when Lepold Stokowski was conductor. She has recorded and performed solo and chamber works of various composers including Albert Roussel,Ruth Crawford Seeger and Leon Kirchner. She has recorded for Bridge, CRI, GM, Naxos,Opus One, Columbia and Centaur Records. She is flutist and executive director of the New York New Music Ensemble. She teaches at the Julliard School in the Music Advancement Program, and at Princeton University.
