About Harry Hibbs
Folk singer from Bell Island, Newfoundland. A Customer on Amazon.ca writes: Hibbs was an icon of Canadian music for a brief time during the early 1970's. He outsold nearly every other Canadian artist in Canada by 2 to 1 at the height of his popularity in 1969-70. Later musicians from Newfoundland like Great Big Sea gained greater mass popularity, but to date, haven't outsold Hibbs. His worldwide sales aree estimated to have topped 2 million copies during his career.
