Grégoire Treschault or Treshaut, Gregorio or Gregorius Trehou or Trechove[n], born around 1540 in Antoing and died in 1619 in Elseneur, was a Danish composer and musician from the southern Netherlands. Perhaps he received the first rudiments of his musical training as a choirchild at the church of Saint-Pierre d'Antoing. The presence of one of his works in a collection published in Venice leads us to believe that he spent part of his youth in this city where Germans as well as Dutch people were going to study music.
