About Fluorocarbon
Very late in the 1990's, a 17 year old lad by the name of Rhys Arvidson was introduced to the BF circus by mutual friend Dave Edney. He shyly presented with some FastTracker work which had been squeezed out of a sweating and on-its-last-legs 386 running an 8-bit SoundBlaster Pro. The tracks needed a little work but came correct with the raw aesthetics that suited the label, taking cues and influence from both the early Rotterdam Records and the BF output of Memetic and Xylocaine.
