About David Bowie With The Lower Third
After a series of releases under the name Davy Jones (among others), "Cant Help Thinking About Me" (b/w "And I Say To Myself") in 1966, was David Bowie's first release under his more well-known moniker. The name changed to avoid confusion with Davy Jones of the The Monkees. Later singles would be released solo, initially backed by his new band The Buzz (see Do Anything You Say).
