Davie Jones with the King Bees was the correct credit on the single Liza Jane / Louie Louie Go Home (Vocalion Pop V.9221), the first single released in June 1964 by the Artist who later gained worldwide recognition under the pseudonym David Bowie (David Robert Jones, Born 8th January 1947 at 40 Stansfield Road, Brixton, London, UK). The other King Bees were Bob Allen, Dick Underwood, Frank Howard & Roger Bluck. This single was followed in 1965 by "I Pity The Fool", as The Manish Boys.
