About Cirkestra
Cirkestra is the band that started as a circus pit band and stuck together. They honed the sound throughout the three month big-top tour, playing for thousands of people in little towns day after day. A sort of "Eastern European meets jazz, meets Spike Jones, meets Klezmer" sound emerged. The group created the soundtrack for the PBS circus documentary "Circus Dreams" Their instrumentals can also be heard on 6 CDs, Television shows such as "America's Got Talent", "Animal Planet", "Wild Boyz", and theme parks including Tokyo Disney.
